During the summer season, tourists are welcome to visit the Alitalo winery every day to enjoy the beautiful countryside and the farm’s products.
The Alitalo winery is a medium sized farm in the Uusimaa region. The winery was opened to the public in 1996, and tourism at the farm has grown over the years. The magnificent nature of Lohjansaari, the farm’s arable fields and the gorves of thousands of apple trees create a
an unforgettable experience in the near of the capital region.
The Alitalo winery is a place where the whole family can enjoy themselves. We offer enjoyable activities for children and adults. In addition to the farm’s own drinks, our fully licensed café also offers snacks to satisfy even the biggest appetites. Our wine boutique
get the farm’s own products to take home or even as gifts.
The farm’s cute animals will entertain children and adults alike, while a new tree trail and a round of mini-golf provide a nice escape from everyday life. A moment alone with adults over a glass of wine almost makes time stand still.
The farm grows apples and produces a variety of wines, ciders, and currant ciders. Over the years, the owner couple Sanna and Marko Maula have developed several new and local products. Product quality and diversity
efforts have been made to invest in. All products are handmade in Lohjansaari and made from domestic raw materials.
Towards the end of the summer season, there is also the opportunity to pick raspberries yourself. The exact date will be announced on the farm’s Facebook page.

Open to groups by reservation all year round.
Wine shop
A wine shop is attached to the farm and serves its customers daily during the summer season and all year round by appointment.
The wine shop sells wines, ciders, ciders and sparkling wines handcrafted on the farm to take home. The products are made from the best domestic berries and apples.
During the apple season, the farm also sells apple juice and apples.
The supply of alcohol is only allowed to holders of a liquor license and a retail sales license. (Alcohol Act)
The Viders and ciders
Our own signature products, the Viders, have become very popular over the years. The Viders are distinguished from ciders by the fact that no apple is used in their production. In other words, ciders are ”berry ciders”. You can call it cider
only drinks made from apples.
Our range also includes traditional apple ciders, made from apples grown on our own farm through spontaneous fermentation. The ciders are filtered.
Wines
We produce a wide range of wines from dry to sweet, and everything in between. In addition to apples, we use raspberries, gooseberries, lingonberries and black, white, red and green currants as raw materials for our wines. We also have a few
sparkling wine.
We are constantly developing new products and you are sure to find a wine that suits you.
In 2019, our sweet blackcurrant wine Juhani won the Finnish farm wine competition.
TOur products are seasonal, so we cannot guarantee that everything is in stock. Particularly at the end of the summer season, some products may have run out.
Café-Restaurant SaariBaari
The winery’s licensed café-restaurant is open daily during the summer season. The café offers both savoury and sweet snacks, for both small and larger appetites.
You can also sample the farm’s products at the island bar and on our terrace. Wine tasting is a fun pastime in good company!
For larger groups, our restaurant works
on a subscription basis.
Activities
Our farm offers a variety of activities for both individual walkers and groups.
We offer different packages, e.g. for bachelor parties or other groups.
In addition to the meal and wine tasting, the package can include. a round of mini-golf or a brisk walk to explore the tree trail.

As a novelty in 2021, we have opened a 12-hole minigolf course!
Minigolf is a fun way to spend time with family or friends.
A little playful competition to brighten up the day!
You are welcome to play minigolf on our farm every day during the summer season.
Group Services
We offer tailor-made excursion, party and meeting packages, wine tastings and guided tours for groups throughout the year.
In spring, when the apple trees are in blossom, a trip to an apple orchard surrounded by hundreds of trees is a great experience, and in harvest season it is possible to book an apple picking trip for the group, so everyone can pick apples to take home.
During the guided tour, you will learn about apple growing and the secrets of winemaking. During the tour you will also visit the wineries and have the opportunity to learn about the farm’s production at a wine tasting.
Restaurant Saaribaari is a cosy restaurant in a natural setting. With years of experience, our kitchen will prepare a buffet package to suit your group, according to your wishes and on pre-order.
Our restaurant has A-rights and you can enjoy our products by the glass with your meal or separately. A wine tasting package can be arranged for the group in advance, or group members can buy their own drinks during the tour.
The restaurant has 60 seats.
